Chocolate Krisps

Crunchy chocolate snacks that can be brought to parties, or just to satisfy your chocolate craving. Good for gift giving as well. I made it for a Mother’s Day get-together. Any type of nut can be used.

Original recipe makes 2 dozen krisps

Ingredients

2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup crispy rice cereal (such as Rice Krispies®)
1/2 cup chopped almonds

Directions

  1. Arrange 24 paper candy cups on a tray.
  2. Place chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl; heat in the microwave until melted, about 2 minutes. Stir.
  3. Stir crispy rice cereal and almonds into melted chocolate. Drop a spoonful of chocolate mixture into each candy cup. Refrigerate until set, 1 to 2 hours.
