I called this variation on the conga bar "Evil Cookies" because they are the kind of chocolate chip cookie that you will want to eat until you explode.
Original recipe makes 2 dozen
Ingredients
2/3 cup butter flavored shortening
1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
3/4 cup white sugar
3 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup rolled oats
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup butterscotch chips
1 cup chopped walnuts
Directions
- Cream together shortening and sugars, blend in eggs and vanilla. Mix in flour, oats, baking powder, and salt. Stir in chips and nuts.
- Spread into a 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 25-30 minutes.
