Evil Cookies

I called this variation on the conga bar "Evil Cookies" because they are the kind of chocolate chip cookie that you will want to eat until you explode.

Original recipe makes 2 dozen

Ingredients

2/3 cup butter flavored shortening
1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
3/4 cup white sugar
3 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup rolled oats
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup butterscotch chips
1 cup chopped walnuts

Directions

  1. Cream together shortening and sugars, blend in eggs and vanilla. Mix in flour, oats, baking powder, and salt. Stir in chips and nuts.
  2. Spread into a 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 25-30 minutes.
