Jeanine’s Decadent Brownies

This brownie recipe is from my mom. I have made many batches of these brownies for my daughter’s various school functions, etc. It’s also really good hot out of the oven with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Original recipe makes 1 9×13-inch dish

2 cups white sugar
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup cocoa powder
4 eggs
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup walnut halves
