Puffed Millet Squares

A substitution for Rice Krispies® treats.

Original recipe makes 16 servings


1/2 cup natural peanut butter
1/2 cup honey
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 1/2 cups puffed millet cereal
1/2 cup chopped dried mixed fruit

  1. Grease an 8×8-inch pan.
  2. Combine peanut butter, honey, and salt together in a large saucepan; bring to a boil. Add vanilla extract. Remove from heat and stir in millet and dried fruit. Press mixture into the prepared pan. Refrigerate until chilled, about 1 hour.
