Original recipe makes 6 dozen
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups butter
1 1/2 cups white sugar
1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
3 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
3/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 cups all-purpose flour
3 cups rolled oats
2 cups raisins
1 cup flaked coconut
1 cup chopped walnuts
Directions
- Cream butter with sugars; beat in eggs and vanilla. Stir in remaining ingredients.
- Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 8-10 minutes at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
