Roast Beef Dip
This light dip can also be used as a sandwich spread. Serve cold with crackers or toasted on bread with Swiss cheese. You can pack the dip into a gelatin mold, then turn out and serve with the look of pate. For best results, make it 24 hours before serving to allow flavors to blend.
E-Z Volcano Shrimp Dip
This is so easy, and gratifying when you hear the ‘ooohs’ and ‘aaahs’ from your guests. Makes a good presentation, too.
Nippy Cheese
Snappy and cheesy dip. It’s important to chill for at least 1 hour to let the flavors blend.
Dill and Cheese Dip
A great dip to make and bring to potluck dinners with some veggies, such as carrots and broccoli.
Boule de Fromage aux Herbes et au Bacon
Okay. The title might seem a bit pretentious, but would anyone really look at Cheese Ball XXXVIII? This is a delicious variation on the holiday cheese ball that has been in my family for close to 40 years. It is perfect served on crusty bread or crackers. One of the nice things about most cheese ball recipes is the versatility. If you want a spicier ball, try substituting a 1/2 cup of pepper jack for the Cheddar. Don’t like bacon? Use Nova lox instead. Don’t like dill? Fugedabowdit! Dill makes this recipe sing! But you can play with the herbs used in the cheese ball. Who doesn’t like playing with their food? Serve with crackers or a good bread. Also goes well as a spread for crudites.
Lindy’s Bacon and Onion Cheese Spread
This is a wonderful bacon and onion cheese spread (not dip) that is great for parties and year-round use. For Christmas, I shape this into a tree shape, on a flat tray. I sprinkle the trunk of the tree with crisp bacon and the tree itself with finely chopped green onion tops or chives. I have also shaped it into a cross for my children’s confirmation parties, a Christmas stocking, and even a heart for a special Valentine’s Day party. If you substitute creamy salad dressing for the mayonnaise it will not be the same. My mom tried that and it didn’t turn out well. This is best made the day before and chilled. My family and friends all love this; it’s one of those dishes that I have to make for every holiday and get-together.
Party Pimento Cheese Spread
Pimiento cheese spread is one of those Southern comfort foods that doubles as a really delicious appetizer. If solace is what you’re seeking, use the spread to make a sandwich on white bread, or grill it a la grilled cheese. If an appetizer is what you need, put it in a bowl and serve it on toast points or with crackers and celery sticks.
Festive Cheese Dip ‘Slaw’
Festive appetizer served in hollowed out whole red cabbage — accompanied by corn chips! Beautiful, easy, and oh so tasty! Especially pretty for Thanksgiving and Christmas appetizer buffets. Best if made ahead at least 24 hours to let flavors blend (can refrigerate in covered container for up to one week). Even with peppers, this dip is not too spicy — children love this dip. A winner!
Bacon Dijon Cheddar Dip
These flavors blend so nicely that you can use this for just about any occasion, from a football party to a women’s tea! Serve with crackers or crostini.

Serve this aromatic chilled dip with crackers and veggies. Caraway seed and chives contribute to the delicate flavor.
Creamy Spinach Dip
A very yummy and creamy dip that’s great for parties. Serve with crackers, tortilla chips or pita bread. Scallions may be used in place of diced onion.
