This sweet bread is loaded with apple flavor! It tastes great with peanut butter, apple butter, or just plain!
Fruit Bread
Nut and Fruit Bread
This is another great holiday bread to make that belonged to my mother. She sometimes served this one, and it is a very old recipe. This bread is good the first day, but better the second. You may use dates instead of raisins if you wish.
Fruited Sherry Bread
This is a wonderfully aromatic bread with lots of dried fruit. It’s rich in fruit, not rich in fat! You can also use prunes, dates, pears or any type of dried fruit in this bread.
Peachie Peach Pecan Nut Bread
Now that the peach season is here, this recipe is really good for using those fresh peaches. When the season is over, just use canned peaches for the same delicious bread. This was a big hit at our Tennis Round Robin Day. I like using a mixture of walnuts and hazelnuts.
Banana Peach Bread
I was looking for a new banana bread and started trying some things. When I came up with this one, the kids and wife just loved it and my mother in-law wants me to make it for her.
Citrus Cranberry Zucchini Bread
A delicious twist on a summer classic–zucchini bread with a hint of lemon and orange, accented by dried cranberries. My husband just raves about it!
Sweet Moist Apple Bread
Soooo yummy! Everyone will beg for seconds. This bread makes your entire house smell like heaven, so bake it right before you have guests over. Sometimes I like to double the topping and push some into the bread batter. Also, I use Rome apples when I make this. Splat!
Banana Strawberry Oat Bread
This was a great way to use up those bananas that have been sitting on the counter and those strawberries that were sitting in the fridge! Super tasty and a healthy snack!
Bara Brith
A sweet, yeast-less Welsh bread studded with dried fruit. I generally soak my raisins in Irish breakfast tea, but feel free to experiment with flavors.
Breakfast Banana Cake
This recipe lends itself well to tweaking (as most of us will do, and I cheerfully include myself here!) and is an extremely easy and elegant way to serve cake for breakfast! The base recipe is my mother’s, with my twists added.
My Aunt’s Banana Bread
I got this recipe from one of my aunts, who got it from an old woman she met in Hawaii while stationed there. It is hands-down the very best banana bread I’ve ever tasted!! No extra buttering required 😉
Blueberry Upside-Down Banana Nut Bread
Delicious banana bread that tastes fantastic with plain Greek yogurt.
Bates Banana Bread
It will cool and then be gone, so be prepared to double the recipe or make more. This is by far the best banana bread I have ever had. The banana bread is better if the bananas are extra ripe!
Dad’s Banana Nut Bread
My dad made this bread for years to the delight to our family. Pair it with a dish of fruit and a cup of coffee for breakfast. Yum! The flax seed meal gives a great texture without altering the flavor.
Yummy Applesauce Bread
Using applesauce instead of butter reduces the fat of this delicious bread. Could also be made as cupcakes or muffins. Toasting the pecans is optional.
Grandma’s Apple Bread
Sweet, spicy quick bread with applesauce and raisins. Good for snacks.
Pineapple Macadamia Nut Bread
Bally High! This sweet and luscious bread will whisk you away to the South Pacific. Pineapple and macadamia nuts are together again!
