Decorator Frosting

          

A frosting that’s perfect for sugar cookies.

Original recipe makes 2 cups

Ingredients

2/3 cup butter, softened
4 cups confectioners’ sugar
2 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 drops red food coloring

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, cream together the butter, confectioners’ sugar, and milk until light and fluffy, about 3 to 4 minutes. Beat in the vanilla and food coloring. Spread on or between cookies.
