Roasted Garlic French Bread is a new spin on an old favorite. The secret ingredient? Surprise! It’s Idahoan Roasted Garlic Flavored Mashed Potatoes!
A friend showed this to me years ago, and I added and changed amounts around to fit my taste. This goes great with any pasta dish, steak, or even seafood. If stored in a plastic bag, either open bag and microwave with a cup of water in microwave, or place 1 tablespoon of water in bag to ensure moist bread after heating.
Great garlic toast with no added fat! My family asks for this all the time!
A mini loaf of bread is spread with cheesy garlic butter and parsley then baked until warm.
A family friend who owns two local cafes gave me this recipe. It is a delicious and surprising twist on plain old garlic bread. Don’t be fooled by the unusual ingredients, the sweet and salty flavors are perfect complements to each other! All the ingredient amounts are approximate, so adjust them to suit your tastes.
Serve as a tasty appetizer, or as a cheesy side with your favourite soup or salad.
This is a great tasting garlic butter smeared on loves of Italian bread and broiled to a crunchy golden delight! Also great with cheese! Simply add cheese after broiling and return to oven until cheese is bubbly. Store any unused garlic butter smear in refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
I just wanted to put my favorite flavors together! I normally suggest fresh herbs, but with this please use already-dried. Also works well with sourdough bread.
Your family, friends, and neighbors will be hooked! Place bread in a large serving bowl and watch it disappear. Enjoy!
I sort of made up this recipe, and it turned out to be pretty good. I was trying to imitate a pita with garlic butter sauce appetizer this one restaurant makes.
A mouth-watering treat for those who love Italian!
I love this because I always have leftover bread and it goes to waste most of the time. The best part is that you can pull out as many pieces as you want and bake them straight from the freezer!
Hot Ponderosas are an interesting variation of garlic toast baguettes that work nicely for outdoor grilling and cookouts. We cooked this one up while I was living in the mountains and cooking almost all of our meals outside. Be careful – they will flame FAST, so be quick with the tongs!
This bread was created from leftover dough after making a foccacia dressed with Kalamata olives, garlic, and olive oil.
This was fantastic with spaghetti, my family loved it… in fact my husband tried to eat the whole thing. Keep in mind though, we love garlic at our house. If you are not a fan of strong garlic, streamline the amount until you are comfortable with it.
I must say this recipe goes great with most Italian dishes. I usually make it with chicken Parmesan. Delicious!!
Begin with hot dog buns to make this a quick addition to your weekday Italian dinners.
French bread (or Italian) is lightly toasted, spread with a creamy cheese mixture and grilled until warm, melted, and unbelievably delicious. The finished bread keeps well in an airtight container.
This is the best garlic bread I have ever tasted. Adjust the ingredients as necessary until the mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese and garlic powder mixture is a paste-like consistency.
