Oatmeal Banana Cinnamon Bread

This bread is so good, why wait for Sunday brunch to prepare it? It makes Monday mornings marvelous! Serve warm with butter or cream cheese.

Original recipe makes 1 – 1.5 pound loaf

Ingredients

1/2 cup water
3/4 cup mashed banana
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 teaspoon butter flavored extract
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon orange extract
1 cup rolled oats
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 teaspoon grated orange zest
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
2 cups bread flour
1 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast

  1. Place ingredients in the pan of the bread machine in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Select light setting; press Start.
