A friend gave me a big bag of za’atar, and I started using it on popcorn. The combination with nutritional yeast and butter is pure yumminess.
Original recipe makes 3 servings
1/2 cup popcorn kernels, popped in an air popper
2 tablespoons salted butter, melted
3 tablespoons nutritional yeast
1 1/2 teaspoons za’atar
- Put popped popcorn in a large bowl. Drizzle melted butter over the popcorn and mix. Sprinkle nutritional yeast and za’atar over the popcorn; mix.
