This is an easy, delicious spread that adults and kids love. It’s a staple at my family’s parties, showers, and luncheons. Spread on white sandwich bread or party rolls (or serve with crackers or plain pita chips).
Original recipe makes 24 servings
1 (15 ounce) can asparagus tips, drained
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup finely chopped almonds
3 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 teaspoon finely minced onion
- Mash asparagus in bowl; pour off any remaining liquid. Mix in the cream cheese, almonds, mayonnaise, and onion until thoroughly blended. Cover, and refrigerate until serving.
