Like puppy chow, but with a few different ingredients. Great for people who are allergic to peanuts or cannot have milk chocolate.
Original recipe makes 12 servings
9 cups crispy rice cereal squares (such as Rice Chex ®)
1 cup white chocolate chips
1/2 cup sunflower seed butter
1/4 cup butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups confectioners sugar, or more to taste
- Place cereal squares in a bowl.
- Combine white chocolate chips, sunflower seed butter, and butter in a microwave-safe bowl; heat in microwave until melted and smooth, about 1 1/2 minutes. Stir chocolate mixture; add vanilla extract and stir. Pour chocolate mixture over cereal; stir to evenly coat. Add confectioners’ sugar and stir until evenly coated.
