Slow Cooker Chocolate Banana Steel Cut Oats

Just another way for oatmeal to be enjoyed! Makes plenty of leftovers to freeze for later.

Original recipe makes 12 cups

Ingredients

10 cups water
2 cups steel-cut oats
2 pounds ripe bananas, mashed
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/3 cup granular no-calorie sucralose sweetener (such as Splenda®)

Directions

  1. Lightly spray a 5-quart or larger slow cooker crock with cooking spray.
  2. Mix water, oats, mashed bananas, cocoa powder, and sweetener in prepared slow cooker.
  3. Cook on Low for 6 hours.
