TJ’s Creamy Salsa

I made this cream cheese-based dip to go with tortilla chips at a lakeside BBQ. When I checked to see if it was a success, I found the bowl nearly empty and people wiping it with their fingers – I guess you could say finger licking good.

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup sour cream
1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced, or to taste
3 tablespoons salsa verde (green salsa)
3 tablespoons red salsa
3 tablespoons minced fresh onion
2 teaspoons fresh lime juice
1/4 teaspoon Mexican-style chili powder with lime (such as Tajin® fruit seasoning)

  1. Stir the cream cheese, sour cream, jalapeno pepper, salsa verde, red salsa, onion, lime juice, and chili powder seasoning together in a bowl until well blended. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour before serving.
