Peanut Butter and Jelly Bread

Kids and kids-at-heart love this! Make sure to use jelly, the sugar content in jam will hinder the success of this recipe. You may use any flavor jelly that you please.

Original recipe makes 1 – 1.5 pound loaf

Ingredients

1 cup water
1 1/2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup blackberry jelly
1 tablespoon white sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup whole wheat flour
2 cups bread flour
1 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast

Directions

  1. Place ingredients in the pan of the bread machine in the order suggested by the manufacturer.
  2. Select a Sweet, Raisin, or Basic setting. Start.
