Pear and Prosciutto Bruschetta

This appetizer of toasted baguette slices topped with blue cheese, pear, and prosciutto is a crowd-pleaser.

1 pear, cored and diced
1/3 cup diced red onion
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
1 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme
1 (4 ounce) package crumbled blue cheese
1 French baguette, sliced and toasted
1/3 pound sliced prosciutto, cut into thin strips

  1. Mix pear, onion, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and thyme together in a bowl; set aside to marinate for 5 minutes.
