This is an amazing and delicious avocado dip. Randy, a nurse I work with, gave me his original recipe and said I could share it. It makes a lot so you might cut in half but not the avocados. For extra flavor add Poco Pica® taco sauce.
Original recipe makes 1 quart
Ingredients
3 avocados, mashed
1 pint sour cream
1 (16 ounce) jar green salsa (such as Bobby Salazar’s® Chile Verde Salsa), or to taste
1 (8 ounce) package shredded Mexican cheese blend
1/2 tomato, diced small
1/4 red onion, finely chopped

Directions
- Mix mashed avocado, sour cream, and green salsa together in a bowl; stir cheese, tomato, and red onion into the avocado mixture.
